The Anime Neighbourhood

Envy buried his face in his hands. He just wanted this all to be over and done with.

Ryu came out of his room, smiling that Cali had gone. "It's time for the next test." He said, a clipboard in hand. "Durability."

" W..What are you planning on doing to me now? "

"Well, since I can't test your emotions any further, it's your body I want to test."

Envy totally knew what this meant, but didn't say anything more. Certainly not looking forward to this test.

Ryu looked at him, a small smile played on his lips. "I have a lab, it's just in the other room. It should suit better. As it's a lot..." he trailed off.

" More morbid? creepy? has more things to torture me with? "

"Paid for. I got money grants from a few people, and it allowed me to create a better area for my experiments."

" Hmph.. close enough.. "

Ryu walked into the far end of the apartment. It seemed to lead into another apartment, just for his lab. The entire house was steel, and cold to the touch. The floors were a steel too. On one wall were devices that looked perfect to clamp onto the arms. Nothing else was placed on that wall. On the wall beside it was various knives, of all different lengths. There were some booster cables, and below that were batteries. He had various cabinets all along the sides of the room. On closer inspection, the wall on the far side could be removed, now I wonder what that was for? There was an X-Ray machine near the end. There was a rather heavy door, and beside that a mirror. Obviously two-way. But, bulletproof and impossible to break through.

Envy froze just looking at the apartment. This wasn't a test, this was torture.

"And if you disobey me, or anything I request of you, I won't hesitate to punish Cali for your actions. In her weakened state, I'm sure this would be a lot harder on her."

Envy just looked down, he had already done so much to hurt her, and wasn't going to let anything more happen to her. He had no choice.

"Stand against the far wall..." Ryu ordered. His voice monotone.

Envy obeyed rather quickly, standing against the far wall.

Ryu fastened the holds onto his wrists and ankles with a mere click of a button. The looked at the selection of knives.

Envy was abit frantic, squirming abit, but he knew he couldn't break free.

"Stainless steel." Ryu said gruffly. "Not even a Humunculous can break that. Not even in your true form."

Envy had no idea what that had to do with this.

Ryu took a blade from the shelf. It was small enough that the grip would fit into his hand. He took it and made a clean cut on Envy's arm.

Envy flinched just a bit.

Ryu smirked, continuing the clean cut down his arm. The blade staining red from the blood.

Envy yelled out in pain. Humunculis's were more sensitive to pain than most humans. Why? Because I said so.

"I'd be more quiet." Ryu continued the cutting. "If Cali hears she might storm in and I'm sure you don't want her to see you like this..."

Envy sure as hell didn't want Cali seeing him like this. He tried to stifle his cry of pain.
